Pharmacy fit-out in Dalkeith
We carry out pharmacy fit-out in Dalkeith and the surrounding parts of Lothian, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
Every pharmacy fit-out quote for Dalkeith lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Dalkeith we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
What should Dalkeith owners check first?
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
