In a c-store every metre of shelf earns money, and the counter has to watch the door, the tobacco gantry and the alcohol aisle at once. We plan sight lines, chiller positions and power loads together so nothing has to be moved after opening.

What should you check before you start?
- Refrigeration needs dedicated circuits and ventilation space; confirm the supply capacity before ordering chillers.
- Your premises licence plan may need updating if the alcohol display area changes.
- Tobacco and vapes must be stored out of sight of customers, so the gantry needs closing doors or shutters.

Questions people ask
Do you supply the chillers and shelving?
We can supply and install shelving and counters, and coordinate the chiller installer so power, drainage and positions are ready for them.
Can you refit the store overnight?
Many c-store refits are done in phases overnight so the shop closes for a day or two at most.
Do I need to tell the council about a refit?
If the licensed area for alcohol changes you may need to update the premises licence plan. We flag this during the survey.
