Pharmacy fit-out for Eastbourne businesses
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our pharmacy fit-out work in Eastbourne is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price pharmacy fit-out in Eastbourne, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Eastbourne we are usually asked to work on pharmacies and healthcare premises and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
What should Eastbourne owners check first?
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
