Pharmacy fit-out in Annan
We carry out pharmacy fit-out in Annan and the surrounding parts of Dumfries and Galloway, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How is the work priced?
Every pharmacy fit-out quote for Annan lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Annan we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
What should Annan owners check first?
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
