Shelving and display systems contractors in Galashiels
We carry out shelving and display systems in Galashiels and the surrounding parts of the Scottish Borders, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How is the work priced?
For Galashiels jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Galashiels we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
What should Galashiels owners check first?
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
