Pharmacy fit-out in Newtown
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our pharmacy fit-out work in Newtown is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price pharmacy fit-out in Newtown, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Newtown we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
What should Newtown owners check first?
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
In Wales, the Building Regulations are set by the Welsh Government and applied by local authority building control. Shopfronts, signs and extraction flues need checking with the local planning authority, and many Welsh towns have conservation areas with stricter rules on shopfront design.
