What happens at the survey?
Before we price salon and barber shop fit-out in Newtown, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.

What should Newtown owners check first?

- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
In Wales, the Building Regulations are set by the Welsh Government and applied by local authority building control. Shopfronts, signs and extraction flues need checking with the local planning authority, and many Welsh towns have conservation areas with stricter rules on shopfront design.
