Pharmacy fit-out contractors in Brecon
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Brecon use our pharmacy fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price pharmacy fit-out in Brecon, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Brecon we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
What should Brecon owners check first?
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
In Wales, the Building Regulations are set by the Welsh Government and applied by local authority building control. Shopfronts, signs and extraction flues need checking with the local planning authority, and many Welsh towns have conservation areas with stricter rules on shopfront design.
