Bar and pub fit-out contractors in Thurso
Need bar and pub fit-out in Thurso? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price bar and pub fit-out in Thurso, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Thurso we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
What should Thurso owners check first?
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
