Showroom fit-out contractors in Ayr
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our showroom fit-out work in Ayr is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price showroom fit-out in Ayr, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Ayr we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Trade counter and collection point
- Room-set partitions and display bays
- Plinths, podiums and product walls
- Feature and scene lighting
- Services to working displays
What should Ayr owners check first?
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
- Working displays such as taps or appliances need water and waste runs planned at the start.
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.

How soon can work start in Ayr?
Surveys are usually booked within one to two weeks. Your quote includes a start date and a dated programme.
