How do we plan the job?
Every shelving and display systems quote for Kirkcaldy lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Kirkcaldy we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
What should Kirkcaldy owners check first?
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
