Shelving and display systems contractors in Dumfries
Need shelving and display systems in Dumfries? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How do we plan the job?
Every shelving and display systems quote for Dumfries lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Dumfries we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
What should Dumfries owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
