Bar and pub fit-out for Dumfries businesses
We carry out bar and pub fit-out in Dumfries and the surrounding parts of Dumfries and Galloway, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How is the work priced?
Before we price bar and pub fit-out in Dumfries, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Dumfries we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
What should Dumfries owners check first?
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
