We carry out shop refurbishment and refit in Canterbury and the surrounding parts of Kent, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How do we plan the job?
The survey for shop refurbishment and refit in Canterbury covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.

What is included?
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
- Redecoration and new finishes
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
What should Canterbury owners check first?
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
