Shop refurbishment and refit for Bangor businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Bangor use our shop refurbishment and refit service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price shop refurbishment and refit in Bangor, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Bangor we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and high street units and corner shops.

What should Bangor owners check first?

- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In Northern Ireland, fit-out work is covered by the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) and approved by the district council's building control team. New shopfronts and illuminated signs are checked by the council's planning department.
