Restaurant and café fit-out for Nottingham businesses
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our restaurant and café fit-out work in Nottingham is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A restaurant or café fit-out covers the dining area, the service counter and the back-of-house kitchen, including the extraction, gas, drainage and hygiene finishes the kitchen needs.
How do we plan the job?
For Nottingham jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Nottingham we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Hygienic wall and floor finishes for kitchens
- Canopy, extraction and make-up air
- Gas, water and grease-trap drainage
- Accessible toilet and baby change
- Service counter and back bar
What should Nottingham owners check first?
- Register your food business with the council at least 28 days before you start trading.
- A new extraction flue often needs planning permission, and odour and noise reports may be asked for.
- Kitchen gas work must be done and certified by a Gas Safe engineer registered for commercial catering.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
Questions about restaurant and café fit-out in Nottingham
Can you install the kitchen extraction?
Yes, we coordinate the canopy, ductwork, fan and make-up air as part of the fit-out.
