Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Nottingham use our shop refurbishment and refit service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How is the work priced?
Every shop refurbishment and refit quote for Nottingham lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Nottingham we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
- Redecoration and new finishes
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
What should Nottingham owners check first?
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
