Shop signage and fascias contractors in Consett
We carry out shop signage and fascias in Consett and the surrounding parts of County Durham, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
Shop signage covers the fascia sign above the shopfront, projecting or hanging signs, built-up and illuminated letters, and window graphics.
How do we plan the job?
For Consett jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Consett we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Electrical connection and timers
- Fascia panels and trays
- Built-up and illuminated letters
- Projecting and hanging signs
- Window vinyls and frosting
What should Consett owners check first?
- Conservation areas often restrict internally lit box signs.
- Signs over the pavement must have a safe clearance above the footway.
- Illuminated signs normally need advertisement consent from the council.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
