Bar and pub fit-out contractors in Consett
We carry out bar and pub fit-out in Consett and the surrounding parts of County Durham, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
What happens at the survey?
Every bar and pub fit-out quote for Consett lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Consett we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
What should Consett owners check first?
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.

What finishes last in a busy bar?
