Bar and pub fit-out for Durham businesses
We carry out bar and pub fit-out in Durham and the surrounding parts of County Durham, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How do we plan the job?
Every bar and pub fit-out quote for Durham lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Durham we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
What should Durham owners check first?
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
