Shopfitters in Hastings

We are shopfitting contractors covering Hastings in East Sussex. We fit out boutiques and independent retailers, cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and pharmacies and healthcare premises, and can supply and install shopfronts, shutters and signage as part of the same job.

What do Hastings businesses usually ask us for?

Across the South East, market towns with conservation areas sit next to large retail parks, so shopfront design often needs to satisfy planners on the high street while retail park units follow the landlord's specification.

Rules for fit-outs in Hastings

In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
