We carry out showroom fit-out in Peterborough and the surrounding parts of Cambridgeshire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
What happens at the survey?
The survey for showroom fit-out in Peterborough covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Peterborough we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?

What should Peterborough owners check first?
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
- Working displays such as taps or appliances need water and waste runs planned at the start.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
