Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How do we plan the job?
The survey for shelving and display systems in Guildford covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Guildford we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
What should Guildford owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
