Shelving and display systems contractors in Musselburgh
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our shelving and display systems work in Musselburgh is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Musselburgh, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Musselburgh we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
What should Musselburgh owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
