Shelving and display systems contractors in Scunthorpe
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Scunthorpe use our shelving and display systems service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How is the work priced?
For Scunthorpe jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Scunthorpe we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
What should Scunthorpe owners check first?
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
