How do we plan the job?
The survey for shelving and display systems in Lincoln covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Lincoln we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
What should Lincoln owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
