Shelving and display systems for Penzance businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Penzance use our shelving and display systems service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Penzance, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Penzance we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
What should Penzance owners check first?
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
