Shelving and display systems contractors in Kilmarnock
Need shelving and display systems in Kilmarnock? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How is the work priced?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Kilmarnock, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Kilmarnock we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
What should Kilmarnock owners check first?
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
