Shelving and display systems for Irvine businesses
Planning shelving and display systems in Irvine? Start with a free survey; we check services, access and approvals, then price the job line by line.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Irvine, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Irvine we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
What should Irvine owners check first?
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
