Shelving and display systems contractors in Aberdeen
Need shelving and display systems in Aberdeen? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How is the work priced?
The survey for shelving and display systems in Aberdeen covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Aberdeen we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
What should Aberdeen owners check first?
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
