How is the work priced?
For Basildon jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Basildon we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
What should Basildon owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
