We carry out shop refurbishment and refit in Stonehaven and the surrounding parts of Aberdeenshire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price shop refurbishment and refit in Stonehaven, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Stonehaven we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.

What should Stonehaven owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
