Salon and barber shop fit-out for Shrewsbury businesses
We carry out salon and barber shop fit-out in Shrewsbury and the surrounding parts of Shropshire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A salon fit-out builds styling stations, backwash areas, reception, retail display and any treatment rooms, with the hot water, drainage and power each station needs.
What happens at the survey?
For Shrewsbury jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Shrewsbury we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Treatment rooms and partitions
- Towel and colour dispensary
- Lighting that flatters skin tones
- Styling stations with mirrors and power
- Backwash units with hot water and drainage
What should Shrewsbury owners check first?
- Treatment rooms offering special procedures may need a local authority licence.
- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
- Backwash units need hot water capacity sized for several basins running together.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
