Salon and barber shop fit-out contractors in Luton
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our salon and barber shop fit-out work in Luton is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A salon fit-out builds styling stations, backwash areas, reception, retail display and any treatment rooms, with the hot water, drainage and power each station needs.
What happens at the survey?
For Luton jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Luton we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.
What is included?
- Reception desk and retail display
- Treatment rooms and partitions
- Towel and colour dispensary
- Lighting that flatters skin tones
- Styling stations with mirrors and power
What should Luton owners check first?
- Backwash units need hot water capacity sized for several basins running together.
- Treatment rooms offering special procedures may need a local authority licence.
- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.

Often yes. Several backwash basins running at once need more hot water than a standard shop heater gives.

As a rough guide each styling station needs around 1.2 metres of wall and space behind for the stylist to work. We draw it out at survey.
Is the survey free in Luton?
Yes. We survey units in Luton and across Bedfordshire free of charge, with no obligation.
How soon can work start in Luton?
Surveys are usually booked within one to two weeks. Your quote includes a start date and a dated programme.
