Pharmacy fit-out for Luton businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Luton use our pharmacy fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
What happens at the survey?
Every pharmacy fit-out quote for Luton lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Luton we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
What should Luton owners check first?
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.

In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
