Roller shutters and security for Horsham businesses
We carry out roller shutters and security in Horsham and the surrounding parts of West Sussex, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
Shop roller shutters are steel or aluminium curtains that roll into a box above the shopfront, closed at night to protect the glass and stock. Perforated and grille types let light and window display show through.
How is the work priced?
For Horsham jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Horsham we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and pharmacies and healthcare premises.

What should Horsham owners check first?
- Your insurer may specify the security rating it wants.
- Electric shutters need safety edges or photocells to stop them closing on people.
- Externally fitted shutters often need planning permission, and some councils prefer internal grilles.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
