Pharmacy fit-out contractors in Inverness
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our pharmacy fit-out work in Inverness is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
What happens at the survey?
The survey for pharmacy fit-out in Inverness covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Inverness we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.
What is included?
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
What should Inverness owners check first?
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
