Pharmacy fit-out contractors in Fraserburgh
Need pharmacy fit-out in Fraserburgh? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price pharmacy fit-out in Fraserburgh, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Fraserburgh we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
What should Fraserburgh owners check first?
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
