Bar and pub fit-out in Dundee
Planning bar and pub fit-out in Dundee? Start with a free survey; we check services, access and approvals, then price the job line by line.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
What happens at the survey?
For Dundee jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Dundee we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
What should Dundee owners check first?
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
