Bar and pub fit-out contractors in Peebles
We carry out bar and pub fit-out in Peebles and the surrounding parts of the Scottish Borders, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
What happens at the survey?
For Peebles jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Peebles we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
What should Peebles owners check first?
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
Questions about bar and pub fit-out in Peebles

How soon can work start in Peebles?
Surveys are usually booked within one to two weeks. Your quote includes a start date and a dated programme.
