Bar and pub fit-out for Motherwell businesses
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our bar and pub fit-out work in Motherwell is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How do we plan the job?
Every bar and pub fit-out quote for Motherwell lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Motherwell we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
What should Motherwell owners check first?
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
