Shelving and display systems for Motherwell businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Motherwell use our shelving and display systems service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How is the work priced?
Every shelving and display systems quote for Motherwell lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Motherwell we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
What should Motherwell owners check first?
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
