How is the work priced?
Before we price aluminium shopfronts in Basingstoke, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Basingstoke we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and high street units and corner shops.

- Powder-coated aluminium frames in any RAL colour
What should Basingstoke owners check first?
- Entrance doors should give a clear opening width that suits wheelchair users.
- Laminated glass holds together if broken, which helps security.
- A new shopfront usually needs planning permission, and more in a conservation area.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
