Showroom fit-out contractors in Worcestershire
If you are opening, moving or refreshing a unit in Worcestershire, our showroom fit-out service covers the layout, the build and the paperwork, with work planned around your trading hours.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
What is shopfitting like in Worcestershire?
In Worcestershire we mostly see cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and pharmacies and healthcare premises. Each has its own landlord rules, service loads and access limits, which we look at on the first visit.
The West Midlands is home ground for us — we are based in Great Barr, Birmingham — and covers everything from city-centre units to Black Country high streets and shopping centres.
What does the work include?
- Feature and scene lighting
- Services to working displays
- Sales desks and consultation areas
- Trade counter and collection point
What approvals might you need in Worcestershire?
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
