Showroom fit-out for Abingdon businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Abingdon use our showroom fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price showroom fit-out in Abingdon, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Abingdon we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.
What is included?
- Room-set partitions and display bays
- Plinths, podiums and product walls
- Feature and scene lighting
- Services to working displays
- Sales desks and consultation areas
What should Abingdon owners check first?
- Working displays such as taps or appliances need water and waste runs planned at the start.
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
