Showroom fit-out for Nottingham businesses
We carry out showroom fit-out in Nottingham and the surrounding parts of Nottinghamshire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
How do we plan the job?
The survey for showroom fit-out in Nottingham covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Nottingham we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Trade counter and collection point
- Room-set partitions and display bays
- Plinths, podiums and product walls
- Feature and scene lighting
- Services to working displays
What should Nottingham owners check first?
- Working displays such as taps or appliances need water and waste runs planned at the start.
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
