Showroom fit-out for Lancaster businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Lancaster use our showroom fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A showroom fit-out creates a space where products are shown in use, with room sets, plinths, lighting and a sales area for sitting down with customers.
What happens at the survey?
Every showroom fit-out quote for Lancaster lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Lancaster we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Plinths, podiums and product walls
- Feature and scene lighting
- Services to working displays
- Sales desks and consultation areas
- Trade counter and collection point
What should Lancaster owners check first?
- Large glazed frontages may need solar control film to stop products fading.
- Working displays such as taps or appliances need water and waste runs planned at the start.
- Design the display walls to be demountable so ranges can change without rebuilding.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
