Shelving and display systems contractors in North Shields
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in North Shields use our shelving and display systems service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
How do we plan the job?
For North Shields jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around North Shields we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
What should North Shields owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
