Shelving and display systems contractors in Johnstone
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our shelving and display systems work in Johnstone is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
What happens at the survey?
For Johnstone jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Johnstone we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
What should Johnstone owners check first?
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
