What happens at the survey?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Middlesbrough, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Middlesbrough we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Installation and fixing to structure
- Layout planning around your stock

What should Middlesbrough owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control.
